Approach

We were asked to develop a video on demand (VOD) service for them across web and native apps, that would offer a unique view on India.

Delivery

I focused in capturing stakeholders' visions during the ideation workshop and presenting refined directions for each phase of the product strategy. I defined the sitemap and delivered detailed wireframes, I actively engaged in HTML/CSS and jQuery prototyping to test micro-interactions and workflows. My contributions were to guide the design project through its various stages.

Ideation workshop

The Ideation Workshop served as a pivotal stage in our design journey, focusing on comprehending and capturing stakeholders' vision for the product. As we delve into Audience & Brand Positioning, our aim is to precisely define how the brand is constructed and influenced. Moving forward, the examination of the Competitive Landscape becomes crucial, helping us identify points of connection and differentiation in the market. The exploration of Website Content is centered on understanding the brand story and effectively communicating it in a dynamic manner. Simultaneously, in addressing the Mobile aspect, our goal is to establish a symbiotic relationship between accessibility and sustained user engagement, ensuring a seamless and compelling experience across platforms. This comprehensive approach underscores our commitment to a holistic and user-centric design strategy.

Doing more with less

In response to our findings, Landor is embarking on a transformative journey to redefine its online presence. Despite having 150 case studies online, the daily page views per visitor metrics were the lowest in the market at 1.36. The objective is to optimize Landor's online impact by enriching a curated selection of 15–20 of the most impressive global case studies. This strategic reduction aims to enhance the user experience with multiple entry points and diverse browsing experiences, ensuring that each case study makes a lasting and impactful impression. This initiative reflects Landor's commitment to doing more with less and setting a new, more engaging direction for its online platform.

Tailored for the audience

The process of creating personas and user journeys caters to distinct needs: for potential clients, it involves evaluating Landor through the review of clients, case studies, and thought leadership. Prospective talent engages in seeking out compelling work and evaluating the culture. Marketing professionals, on the other hand, turn to Landor for guidance and inspiration, delving into opinion pieces and reviewing case studies for valuable insights. This tailored approach ensures that Landor effectively addresses the diverse requirements of its audience, whether they be clients, potential hires, or marketing professionals seeking valuable resources and inspiration.

Prototyping the UI

Utilizing HTML/CSS and jQuery, I created prototypes for the essential product experiences. These prototypes serve to test micro-interactions and workflows, ensuring their effectiveness before the site progresses into the production phase. This proactive approach allows us to refine and optimize the user experience, anticipating and addressing potential issues early in the development process.
